It includes key components such as the Invitatory, Office of Readings, Lauds (Morning Prayer), Intermediate Hour (Tercia, Sexta, and Nona), Vespers (Evening Prayer), and Compline (Prayer before Night).

This first official app for Argentina allows individuals to pray the Liturgy of the Hours conveniently from their mobile devices. Developed by the Spanish Episcopal Conference for the CEA, this interactive tool aims to enhance the orderliness of Divine Office prayers through a refined design that promotes contemplation. Various features enable users to navigate the liturgical texts with ease and independence.

The application intelligently recognizes users' browsing habits, suggesting the prayer corresponding to the current time of day upon accessing it. Users can effortlessly participate in the Invitatory, Office of Readings, Lauds, Intermediate Hour, Vespers, and Compline. The system not only recommends prayers based on chronological context but also grants users full autonomy to select any prayer they wish or return to a previously initiated one. Options are available to set reminders or notifications that alert users when it is time to pray their predetermined selection. Users can even curate a list of favorite Hours, with the app ensuring they remain attentive and engaged.

Furthermore, the CEA Liturgy of the Hours app is designed to enable seamless navigation through the liturgical calendar, promoting user interaction and autonomy. It allows users to select any day throughout the year and explore various options determined by the Church for that specific date: either Office of Feria, Memorial, Solemnity; Common Offices; or Offices for Deceased individuals along with Feria or Memorial Offices. Once a user selects an office, the application permits navigation through different Hours, following either chronological order or personal preference. Users will be guided back to any previously completed prayers and can easily switch between daily psalms, which are even available in Latin if desired—all with just a click.

The CEA Liturgy of the Hours app accommodates personal preferences for reading modes suitable for various contexts. Users can choose between three font sizes and dark or light backgrounds while benefiting from an automatic scrolling feature that allows texts to advance without manual interaction; it moves at a speed selected by the user. This thoughtful design ensures maximum comfort for users seeking to foster their relationship with God while maintaining interactivity with the application.
